In today's world to ensure companies, agencies and institutions are performing at optimal levels, organizations desire staff and practices that are of the highest ethical standards.  Ethics training and skill building are a necessary component of every staff member's orientation to the company, agency or organizaton.  Ensuring that every employee understand's the organizations's values, mission and vision in addititon to ethical decision making within the perimeters establish by the organization.  

Ethics for Law Enforcement

Ethics part of a new police officer’s training; however, most never receive an update or more information as situations and cultures change over time.  In today's atmosphere, police ethics goes well beyond the usual lecture about not accepting gratutities, or bribes, or engaging in illegal activity.  Today ethics involves the very manner by which law enforcement officers make decisions to arrest or not, use force to what extent or not, the use of language, bias encroachment, fairness, and service.  TRG provides an up-to-date curriculum on the important aspects of ethical behavior.

Bias Free Policing

All people have bias.  It comes from experience, information, learning and living.  Part of a human's ability to sort through what is in fornt of them or effecting them is done via the biases we all have developed over our lifetime.  Recognizing our bias and ensuring when law enforcement officers act, they act on behavior and not a bias conscious or unconscious is important for fairness and justice.  This course looks at how bias can cloud our ability to make clear, fair decisions while serving the public.  It raises awareness levels and helps law enforcement understand their bias and use new skills for better assurance bias are held in check as they serve the public.
