Deputy Secretary (ret)- Consultant

 

Deputy Secretary of Corrections Morgan retired from the state of Wisconsin Department of Corrections in 2018.  She headed to Tunisa, Africa for two years to train and assist the Tunisian government’s reform of their correctional system.  After returning to the United States in 2020 she consulted regularly with the Riseling Group, LLC.  In July of 2021 she will head to Saudi Arabia to continue her work in correctional reform.  

Deputy Secretary Morgan had a long a distinguished career in the field of corrections.  She served as a Deputy Secretary and worked within the Secretary’s office on policy and human resources related matters.  At one point in her career, she served as Warden of the Oak Hill prison in Dane County Wisconsin.  Prior to her career within corrections, she worked for the Stoughton School District in the field of human relations and personnel.
